The Palm Creek Softball Association holds board meetings when necessary.  Active members  are encouraged to attend the Annual General Meeting which is usually held  the last week of February.  Please contact the board Secretary to confirm the meeting time and location. Palm Creek Softball Association Organization

The Palm Creek Softball Association is registered as a 503c7 non-profit corporation.  A requirement of the registration is that the corporation adopts a set a bylaws that governs the activities of the corporation.  The bylaws require the election or appointment of a Board of Directors to oversee the non-profit corporation.

The Palm Creek Softball Association Board of Directors is comprised of the following seven positions:

Chairperson; Vice Chairperson, League Director, Member-At-Large, Information Technology Director, Treasurer and Recording Secretary. 

The Chairperson, League Director and Member-at-Large serve two-year terms and are elected in even-numbered years. 

The Vice Chairperson, Information Technology Director, Treasurer and Recording Secretary serve two-year terms and are elected in odd-numbered years.

A nominating committee selected by the Chairperson is charged with bringing forward qualified candidates to run Executive Board positions. 

Other candidates may self-nominate for election to the Executive Board positions.

Other non-Executive Board positions (such as Club Representative, Equipment Manager, Head Groundskeeper, Tournament Director) are appointed by the Chairperson or responsible Executive Board member.
